If you are reading this page, you are probably wanting to know something about your child's teacher. Well, I am, Mrs. Amanda Holliday, a 4th grade math/science teacher at Carrollton Middle School. 2012-2013 will begin my 27th year teaching 4th/5th graders. The first fifteen years, I taught 5th graders at Villa Rica Elementary and Sharp Creek Elementary. For the past eleven years, I have taught 4th graders at Carrollton Elementary and Carrollton Middle. I have always called Carrollton home . I grew up here, graduated from Central High School and later from the University of West Georgia (GO WOLVES!). I married my high school sweetheart, Johnny, almost 30 years ago. We have three children, Jordan - a graduate of the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!), Jonah - a senior at the University of West Georgia (GO WOLVES!), and Amy - a beginning freshman at UGA (GO DAWGS!). I am extremely proud of my children and their accomplishments! I attend Roopville Road Baptist Church where I have been a member for over 30 years. Some of my favorite things to do are travel (to the beach), read, and spend time with my family. On Friday nights in the fall, you will find me cheering on our Mighty Trojans!
