Message from the Principal

In 2005, I had the privilege of serving as the principal of Carrollton Middle School upon the opening of its doors. I am excited and honored to return to CMS and look forward to upholding the tradition of excellence known as the Gold Standard.

Having the opportunity to prepare your child for the next step on their journey through life is important to the CMS faculty and staff and it is not an endeavor that any of us take lightly. We aim to provide each student with a quality education through providing highly qualified teachers and dedicated support staff who oversee our innovative and rigorous curriculum and extracurricular activities. Through these practices, I am confident we can develop well-rounded students who will be successful as they progress through each level of education.

The CMS staff and I are committed to ensuring that your child receives the best education possible. Here, we have an open door policy. I welcome you to communicate with me whenever you deem necessary and encourage you to visit and see the excellence in practice.

My philosophy as an educational leader mirrors a statement by Ghandi, which I’ve taken the liberty to paraphrase here: “A student is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.”
